The Wimbledon draw has now changed format and is no longer done at local level.
All BTA Members are invited to apply for the draw via the LTA

Can you also let me know if Malpas Tennis Club are keen to participate in an intra-club singles league, joining with Tattenhall and Kelsall Tennis Clubs. It’s open to Adult Players (men and women age 18+). It’s free for Club Members but Non-Members need to pay host club £25 for 6 months or £15 for 2 months (April to October) to play in singles matches against other players in their division. They can’t use the courts at any other time other than their matches if Non-Members. The £25 fee is refunded if they decide to join their host club within the first 2 months of playing. The host club can restrict the days / times matches are played to avoid clashing with times when the courts are needed by Members or for coaching activities. If the Club would like to participate can you let me know the days/times when courts are not available? If anyone would like to participate in this event, please contact Berin Ames on 07775523250

We now have a tennis ball thrower which is available for use. Contact Mike Bradley on
07873 929013 for the key. Please sign the book to use and report any malfunctions to John Godwin on 07836 515562. This machine cannot be used when it is wet or the ground is damp, as it affects the tennis balls. After use, please return it to the pavilion, lock it and return the key to Mike Bradley
Club Coach Berin Ames is available for coaching sessions & is running some junior and adult coaching courses over the Summer.
